Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes- - February 26, 2019 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, February 26, 2019. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 10:30am. Commissioner Wilson opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Carroll followed with prayer. APPROVED = AGENDA Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the agenda with the removal of: Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Road and Bridge - Subdivision Plat: Bullock Farms. APPROVED - MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS Accounts Payable Check Numbers 82796-82888. Payroll Check Numbers: 154543 - 154544. APPROVED EMA GRANTS Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the Chairman approving and Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. signing all EMA grants for the 2018/2019 fiscal year. APPROVED - BID - CRUSHED CONCRETE Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to award the crushed concrete bid to Johnson Trucking, LLC. APPROVED JM WOOD AUCTION CONTRACT Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve and to authorize the Chairman to sign the JMY Wood auction contract. See Exhibit 2. Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED = RESOLUTION - PAVING PROJECT Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve two resolutions regarding paving project number DCP-23-03-19. See Exhibit 3. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. COURTHOUSE HOURS OF OPERATION Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the change in the Courthouse hours of operation to revert back to working 5 days, 8 hours a day. The motion failed due to a lack of a second. APPROVED - EXECUTIVE SESSION Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve going into Executive Session for the reason of General Reputation and Character and also Matter of Commerce or Trade.
