Town of Aguilar Meeting Minutes  April 21, 2022  I.  Call to order  Mayor Marc Piano called the meeting to order at 6:36 pm on April 21, 2022, at  the Aguilar Community center.  II. Attendance  The following persons were present: Mayor Piano, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino, Mr. Baudino, Mrs. Gonzales, Mr. Gulley, Mr. Porras, Mr. Walters, and Ms. Tyra  Avila.  III. Swearing in of the newly elected Mayor  Mayor Piano Swore in Donald Gonzales as the Mayor of Aguilar  IV. Swearing in of newly elected Board ofTrustees  Mayor Gonzales swore in Mr. Dave Gulley, Mr. Marc Piano, Mr. Joseph Porras,  and Mr. Vernon Thorn as the newly elected Board ofTrustees.  V. Appoint Mayor Pro Tem  Mr. Gulley made a motion to appoint Mr. Gerald Baudino as Mayor Pro Tem;  seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed.  VI. Attorney to address the new Board on rules, regulations, and responsibilities Mr. Hyatt went over the Due Process, Ex Parte Contacts, Conflicts of Interest and Personal Liability, also how to run a meeting and do workshops the Scope of Employment Memo and Liability dos and don'ts. Mr. Gulley resigned after the  for elected officials  attorney addressed the Board.  VII. Discussion of Library internet password usage for free  Mr. Porras made a motion to not let the library password be open to the public for  free; seconded by Mr. Piano; motion passed. VIII. Letters of Intent for open board seats  Mr. Porras made a motion to post for letters ofintent and have them turned in no later than May 27, 2022 and have a special meeting to interview on June 16,  2022; seconded by Mr. Piano; motion passed.
