Town of Aguilar Special Meeting Minutes  June 13, 2022  I.  Public Hearing Mercantile Fermented Malt Liquor License The public hearing was held for the Aguilar Mercantile at 5:30pm  II. Call to order  Mayor Donald Gonzales called the meeting to order on June 13, 2022, at the  Aguilar Community Center. Pledge was led by Bill Smith.  III. RollCall  Tyra Avila conducted roll call. The following persons were present: Mayor Donald Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino, Mr. Piano, Mr. Thorn and Tyra  Avila; Mr. Porras was absent. IV. Approval of Agenda  Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the agenda; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem  Baudino; motion passed.  V. Accept letter of resignation from David Gulley  Mr. Piano moved to accept the letter of resignation from David Gulley; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Baudino; Mr. Thorn voted no; motion passed.  VI. Appoint new Town Board Trustees  Mr. Piano made a motion to appoint Charleen Gonzales and Bill Smith as the new Town Board Trustees; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Baudino; Mayor Gonzales voted yes; Mr. Thorn removed himself from the meeting; motion passed.  VII. Swear in new Town Board Trustees  Town Clerk Tyra Avila sworn in Charleen Gonzales and Bill Smith as the new  Town Board Trustees.  VIII. Approve the Aguilar Mercantile fermented malt liquor license  Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the Mercantile fermented malt liquor license; seconded by Mr. Smith; Mayor Pro Tem Baudino and Mr. Smith  abstained; motion passed.
