Town of Aguilar Special Meeting Minutes  June 9, 2022  I.  Call to order Gonzales. II. Roll call  Mayor Donald Gonzales called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm on June 9, 2022, at the Aguilar Community center. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Charleen  Tyra Avila conducted roll call. The following persons were present: Mayor Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino, Mr. Piano, Mr. Porras, Mr. Thorn, and Ms.  Avila  III. Approval of the Agenda  Mr. Piano moved to approve the agenda; seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed. Mr. Piano made a motion to let Bill Smith interview over the phone due to illness;  IV. Phone Interview for Mr. Bill Smith  seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed. Executive Session Interviews for open board seats  V.  Mayor Pro Tem Baudino moved to go into executive session at 6:05pm; seconded  by Mr. Porras; motion passed. VI. End of Executive session motion passed. VII. Appoint two trustees  Mr. Piano moved to end executive session at 6:42pm; seconded by Mr. Porras;  The board did a paper vote for the citizens who interviewed for the two open Board trustee seats tally was Frank Barajas 0, Charleen Gonzales 2, Sue Lawson  1, Robert Romero 1, and Bill Smith 4.
