Town of Aguilar Meeting Minutes  November 17, 2022  I.  Call to order  Mayor Donald Gonzales called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm on November 17,2022, at the Aguilar Community center. Pledge led by Bill Smith The following persons were present: Mayor Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino, Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the agenda; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Mayor Pro Tem Baudino made a motion to approve the regular meeting minutes  II. Attendance  Mr. Piano, Mr. Porras, Mr. Thorn, and Ms. Tyra Avila.  II. Approval of Agenda Baudino; motion passed  IV. Approval Regular Meeting minutes October 27, 2022  for October 27, 2022; seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed Ms. Elliott-Jones was unable to attend the meeting. Mr. Ritchey didi not show for the meeting. VII. Ms. Mistina Sarvari signed in as a guest VIII. Ms. Esmeralda Mikkelson signed in as a guest  V. Guest Laurel Elliott-Jones VI. Guest Allen Ritchey  Ms. Sarvari signed in to speak about dogs and receiving a citation.  Ms. Mikkelson signed in to speak about old trucks parked in al lot across from her house and why isn't code enforcement doing anything about it, she also wanted to Thel building inspector/emergency manager report was given to the Board.  talk about accountability.  VIII. Building Inspector/Emergeney Manager Report  X. Gas Report XI. Office Report XII. Utility Report  Ms. Avila updated the Board on the gas report. Ms. Avila updated the Board on the office report. Ms. Avila updated the Board ont the utility report. XIII. Gerald McDaniel scope ofwork agreement McDaniel; seconded by Mr. Piano; motion passed.  Mr. Thorn made a motion to approve the scope of work agreement from Gerald Mr. Thorn made a motion to approve the contract for a full time Sheriff deputy in Aguilar and a part time deputy at an annual rate of $78,839; seconded by Mr. Mr. Porras made a motion to not approve resolution 11-1,2022 Family medical Mr. Piano made ai motion to apply for the $25,000 Colorado water quality control  XIV. Contract fori full time Deputy Piano; motion passed.  XV. Resolution 11-1,2022 Family Medical leave leave; seconded by Mr. Piano; motion passed. grant; seconded by Mr. Thorn; motion passed.  XVI. Apply for $25,000 Colorado water quality control division grant  Page lof2    XVII. Aguilar Housing  Discussion of the bylaws for Aguilar Housing Tina Campbell will get the updated XVIII.Donation Friends of Aguilar Christmas $100 and back to school dance $50 Mr. Porras made ai motion to donate $50 to Friends of Aguilar for Christmas and $50f for the back-to-school dance; seconded by Mr. Piano; motion passed. Tol let everyone know that is available for inspection and not set in stone. Mayor Pro Tem Baudino made a motion to close off the burn pile to the public; Mayor Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino, Mr. Piano and Mr. Porras agreed to volunteer to check all the Christmas lights on Main St. and replace them on a Mr. Piano made a motion tot take the vehicles tol Navajo to have them serviced and XXII. Review loan documents to be signed with CO Bank for interim loan on Informing the board that the Loan documents will be coming in for them to be Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the bill from 10/25/2022 through 11/14/2022; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Baudino; Mr. Thorn abstained; motion Mr. Piano made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:05pm; seconded by Mayor  bylaws sent tot the' Town of Aguilar  XIX. Post 2023 Budget inj paper XX. Closing of burn pile  seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed XXI. Check Christmas lights on Main St.  weekend after Thanksgiving XXI.
