Town of Aguilar Meeting Minutes  January 26, 2023  I.  Call to order  Mayor Donald Gonzales called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm on January 26, 2023, at the Aguilar Community center. Pledge led by Joe Avila  II. Attendance  The following persons were present: Mayor Gonzales, Mayor Pro Tem Baudino,  Mr. Piano, Mr. Porras, Mr. Thorn, and Ms. Tyra Avila.  III. Approval of Agenda  Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the agenda; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem  Baudino; motion passed  IV. Approval Regular Meeting minutes December 15, 2022  Mr. Piano made a motion to approve the Regular meeting minutes for December 15, 2022; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Baudino; Mr. Thorn voted no; motion  passed Romero Trustees.  V. Swear in new Board members Oath of Office William Smith and Bob Mr William Smith and Mr. Bob Romero took the Oath of Office as new board  VI. Guest Robert Avila  Mr. Avila wanted to address the board regarding an incident with a board member, Mayor Gonzales told Mr. Avila that he would look into the accusations.  VII. Building Inspector/Emergeney Manager/Code Enforcement  Mr. Casillas updated the board on his report. Ms. Avila updated the board on the gas report. Ms. Avila updated the board on the office report. Ms. Avila updated the board on the utility report.  VIII. Gas Report VIII. Office Report X. Utility Report  XI. Fence around the pressure vault  Mr. Piano made a motion to have a fence put up around the pressure vault;  seconded by Mr. Porras; motion passed.  XII. Purchased lots behind Mercantile change zoning to commercial Mayor Pro Tem Baudino made a motion to change the zoning for lots behind the mercantile to commercial; seconded by Mr. Thorn; motion passed. XIII. Purchased lots behind the Mercantile permission to build by the arroyo    XVI. Adjournment  Mr. Porras made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:25pm; seconded by Mr.  Smith; motion passed.
