COU Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes - February 25, 2020 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, February 25, 2020. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary and District; and Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 10:40am. Commissioner McKinnon opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Wilson followed with prayer. APPROVED - AGENDA Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the agenda. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - MEMORANDUMI OF WARRANTS Accounts Payable Check Numbers 85940-86041. Payroll Check Numbers: 154653-154658. Direct Deposit Check Numbers: 33731-33873. APPROVED - TRAVEL REQUEST Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve the following: Cheryl Ganey - Commission - ACAA Conference - Perdido Key, Al- -N May 13-14, 2020 -9 $844.00 Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. APPROVED = SEARP & DC - BOARD APPT Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve Mr. Winton Jackson's to the Southeast Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission's Loan Administration Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Board for a period of 3 years. Term ending March 25, 2023. APPROVED - E-911 BUILDING - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT EXPENDITURE Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the payment, from the Capital Improvement Fund 116, for remodeling at E-911 in the amount of $23,369.00. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - 2020 & 2021 ALABAMA STATE GAMES Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the payment, from the General Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. See Exhibit 1. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - SOUND SYSTEM - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT EXPENDITURE Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve an additional payment, from the Capital Improvement Fund 116, for sound equipment in the meeting room in the amount of$1,214.00. Total for project, $10,000.00. Originally approved November 12, 2019. Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. ANNOUNCEMENT - NEXT REGULAR MEETING Chairman Blankenship announced that the next regular meeting of the Dale County Commission will be Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00am.
