3 Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes - November 9, 2021 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The following members were present: Chairman Steve McKinnon; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Donald O. Grantham; District Three Commissioner Chairman McKinnon called the meeting to order at 10:00am. Commissioner Gary opened Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Carroll followed with prayer. APPROVED - AGENDA Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the agenda with the following changes: Remove- Professional Services Contract - R&B. Adding - Fund 151 Jail Tax Ad Valorem Expenditure. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the following Memorandum of Warrants: Accounts Payable Check Numbers 91411-91525. Payroll Check Numbers: 154777 154777. Motion carried APPROVED - DALE COUNTY PERSONNEL BOARD Commissioner Grantham made a motion to approve Dale County Personnel Appeals Employee Board Appointment: Eugene "Cajun" Evans - 6-year term. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried APPROVED - PROPOSED REDISTRICTING PLAN Commissioner Grantham made a motion to approve al Proposed Redistricting Plan. After advertisement for 2 consecutive weeks, the plan will be voted on November 23, 2021. This proposed plan will be available for public review at the city halls of the following: Ariton, Daleville, Midland City, Newton, Ozark, and Pinckard. The notice will also be published in the Southern Star newspaper, Daleville Sun-Courier newspaper, and the County's website. See Exhibit 1. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye.
