Abudget revision was presented for Law Enforcement budget overruns. The revision suggested tor move $83,297.00 from Contingencies and add $10,000 from the Motor Fuel rebate; an increase of $93,297.00. On a motion by Susie Cvechko, seconded by. Mrs. Kaufman also discussed the precinct mismatch that occurred in select precincts due to a conversion error from the state's upgraded voters' system. The mismatches have been identified and are being corrected. Voters that were affected had their ballots accepted in the provision ballot count during canvassing. Jamie Carpenter.3/0 Upon request of the Prosecuting Attorney, consent was provided to reinstate Juva Charlene Stemple's employment to the VOCA position on a motion by Susie Cvechko, seconded David Upon request of the Sheriff, consent was provided to hire Calvin Parks to fill the vacant Deputy Discussion was held regarding the USDA grant funded Sheriff Cruiser. The cost difference of the scope change between the truck and Durango is $8,161.00. There is a possibility of additional USDA funds being available. On a motion by Susie Cvechko, seconded by Jamie Carpenter, the cost difference was approved up to $8,161.00 from the Sheriff Capital Projects fund. 3/0 Dylan Harper reported the Mobile Command trailer was utilized during the Blue & Gray Reunion. He also reported a shift supervisor submitted an employment resignation and he will be Chris Callas and Emily Taylor with AES, Laurel Mountain Windmill Farm, was in attendance to request approval of the Decommissioning report for AES Laurel Mountain project and authorizing execution and deliver of decommissioning agreements. On a motion by Dave Strait, seconded by Jamie Carpenter the resolution was approved and agreements signed. 3/0 On a motion by Susie Cvechko, seconded by David Strait, authorization was given to process the request to drawdown the seconded allocation of Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. 3/0 On ar motion by David Strait, seconded by Susie Cvechko, $2,500.00 was approved for the Corridor H. BOOK 28 PAGE352 June 6, 2022 Page 3 Onan motion by David Strait, seconded by Jamie Carpenter, resolutions to submit grant applications for Court Security and a PBHS Prevention Resource Officer to the WV Division of The next regular commission meetings are scheduled for June 15, 2022 at 9:00am; July 15, 2022 Commissioner Cvechko provided an update on a meeting held with LynxWV. They intend to submit an application to the Wireless Internet Networks (WIN) Program, part of the West Virginia Broadband Investment Plan (WVBIP). Projects will provide extensions or upgrades of existing last-mile wireless broadband networks that can be constructed quickly and extend broadband service to Targeted addresses and locations that are within Targeted areas within state parks. Audra State Park is listed at #8 on the program's State Park priority list. Ruston Seaman was in attendance toi inquire about broadband progress within the county. It was reported that the Barbour Economic Development office is actively working with Region VII Onamotion by.
