On a motion by David Strait, seconded by. Jamie Carpenter, meeting minutes from October 3, 2022 was approved. 2/0 Exonerations were presented. Onan motion by Susie Cvechko, seconded by David Strait, six (6) final settlements were approved. Kristy Kline presented a proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month for October 2022. Upon request from Century Volga PSD, Ronald Holbert is reappointed to the Century Volga PSD Mike Rexroad and E.E. Bryan was in attendance to further discuss the memorial brick project at the Dough Boy statue. American Legion Post 44 requested that proper cleaning and preservation of the statue occurs first, then pursue the memorial project. It was also suggested to use granite, rather than brick for longevity. Shana Frey is to check on grant opportunities. During discussion of the Dough Boy statue, it was mentioned that there were 145 Dough Boy statues made and Corey Brandon, OEM Director, presented a quote from Hart Office Solutions to upgrade their copier with a new lease. On a motion by. Jamie Carpenter, seconded by David Strait, the lease was approved for $339.50 per month for a full service, supplies and maintenance program.3/0 Corey also noted that he will be attending Floodplain training during the week of October 24th. These meetings willl be informational and no action will bet taken during this time. The regular commission meeting schedule was discussed for November: and December. One regular meeting will be held in November on November 14th at 5:00pm and one regular meeting will be held in December on December 12th at 5:00. A notice will be sent tot the Democrat.
