Meeting  January 3, 2023 4:30 pm  JAMIE CARPENTER COMMISSION PRESIDENT, DAVID: STRAIT COMMISSIONER, JEDDSCHOLA COMMISSIONER, LAURIE AUSTIN COUNTY CLERK, SHANAFREY COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR  Dylan Harper, Corey Brandon, Kim Lewis  Jamie Carpenter called the meeting to order at 4:30pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance. The election of Commission President was held. David Strait nominated Jamie Carpenter as president fort the 2023 term. Jedd Schola seconded the nomination and. Jamie Carpenter accepted. Passing unanimously, Jamie Carpenter is the Barbour County Commission President fort the 2023 term. David Strait made a motion to allow Commissioners to teleconference in the event they are unavailable to attend in person, Jamie Carpenter seconded and passed unanimously. Onar motion by. Jamie Carpenter, seconded by David Strait and passed unanimously, holidays, as defined by the State of West Virginia, and any additional proclamations made by the West Virginia Governor, as outlined in WV Code 2-2-1, will be observed by the Barbour County Courthouse. On a motion by. Jamie Carpenter and seconded by David Strait, regular commission meetings will be held on the 1st Monday of each month at 5:00pm and the 3rd Friday of each month at 9:00am. Meetings are held in the County Commission Chambers at the Barbour County Courthouse. Ona a motion by David Strait, seconded by.
