He explained the 340B program is a federal program that allows Broaddus Hospital to purchase medicine locally at a discounted price for outpatient services. To participate, the hospital must provide care without the ability to pay. The addendum is to acknowledge the desire to continue with the original MOU. On a motion by Jamie Carpenter, seconded by. Jamie Carpenter made a motion to split these funds in half to Belington and Philippi Public Libraries, Quotes were presented for equipment necessary to connect the Sheriff Annex to the Courthouse. These items will be purchased with Coal seconded by David Strait. 3/0 Severance funds. 3/0 Law Enforcement mutual aid agreements were presented for local municipal police agencies to allow them to report outside their jurisdictions when necessary. Jedd Schola, the mutual aid agreements were approved. 3/0 Sheriff Carpenter reported that five applications were received for the Sheriff Deputy vacancy but only three of them attended the testing. Law Enforcement applicant pool is low throughout the state and after receiving news that Deputy Gonzales will be leaving in. July, Sheriff Carpenter isr requesting the consent to hire two individuals from the current list of eligible applicants. All applicants are not currently certified. On a motion by. Dylan Harper presented a quote to replace the aging firewall at 911. The Assessor's office also utilizes for backups and agreed to split the cost with 911. The Event Coordinator was able to join the commission meeting to answer questions regarding the arena footing.
