JEAN SWIGER, KATHY Jeremy Drennen provided an update on the sewer line extension project. Property acquisition settled without requiring condemnation action. Commissioner Strait thanked Mr. Drennen and Mr. Ashcom for their efforts to avoid condemnation. On a motion by. Jamie Carpenter, seconded by David Strait, a resolution as approved authorizing assignment and conveyance of interests in real property to the City of Philippi pursuant tot the terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement Jacob Summerfield provided an animal control report and responded to 100 calls in March. He also provided a training certificate for the completed Animal Control training course. A discussion was held on the World War Doughboy statue. Senator Hamilton and Senator Karnes agreed to commit $8,760.00 and Delegate Phillips $1,000.00 toward the project. Ona motion by Jamie Carpenter, seconded by David Strait, $10,000.00 was committed toward the project and the quote from Kreilick Conservation was approved in the amount of $19,760.00. 3/0 Jody Carpenter is leading a four-member 4-H: Soils Land Judging team to the National 4-H Land Judging and Homesite Judging contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
