MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF TUSCUMBIA REGULAR SCHEDULED MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2015 The Tuscumbia City Council met on November 2, 2015 with Billy Shoemaker, Mayor and Council Members Randall Davis, Richard Coates, George Johnson, Sr., and Martha Smith. JoAnn Armstead, City Clerk, Tom Heflin, City Attorney and Department Heads Anthony Logan, David Cole, Hugh Stanley, Luster Echols and Tammy Holt, Athletic Director, were also present. Mayor Billy Shoemaker called the regular scheduled meeting to order @ 5:40 p.m. Invocation was provided by Hugh Stanley, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance that was led by Anthony Council Member. Johnson made the motion to adopt the Minutes of October 19, 2015 (Regular Council Member Smith made the motion to adopt the Minutes of October 23, 2015 (Special Call Logan. BUSINESS Tammy Holt, Athletic Director, presented certificates to the 2015 Midget Football Team and the Pee Wee Football Team for winning the Quad Cities Championship within their leagues: Midgets - Walter Goggins, Coach and Mitchell Brazeale, Player and Council congratulated the teams ont their success. Pee Wee - Breten Allen, Jackson Banks, Jaxon Brown, Jaden Easley, Henry Finch, Ethan Foster, Luke Linley, Jay Mayfield, Joshua Simms and Chris Wade, Players. The Mayor Council Member Davis made the motion to adopt Resolution 15-010, Non-Disturbance Agreement, (Bradford A. Hall and wife, Dinah P. Hall owners of property), for the life and existence of house located at the NW corner of Milton and Almon Street ofLot 28; thence East 70 feet to a point; thence run! South 132 feet to a point; thence run West 70 feet tot the point of beginning. The motion was seconded by Council Member Johnson and the vote was unanimous. Council Member Smith made the motion to reappoint Danny Henson to Tuscumbia Housing Authority Board for the term of five years beginning November 1, 2015 and ending November 1, 2020. The motion was seconded by Council Member Coates and the vote was unanimous. Council Member Coates made the motion to reappoint Lisa Pace to Tuscumbia Planning Commission for the term of six years beginning November 26, 2015 and ending November 26, 2021. The motion was seconded by Council Member Smith and the vote was unanimous. The award of bids fori the two fire trucks was tabled until proof of advertisement could be provided by Chief Cole.
