The Tuscumbia City Council met on Thursday, November. 17, 20166 @6 6:00 p.m. inc as Special Called Meeting to discuss the "FEMA FirefighterG Grant". Thes Special Call Meeting was posted onl November. 15, 2016 at 12:27p.m., more than. 24 hours prior to the meeting at City Hall, andi in addition, the City Clerk's office provided direct notification of the meeting to all Council Members and any member oft the public or news media whol has registered with the governmental body to receiver notification of meetings. Mayor Underwood andt the following Council members were ina attendance for the meeting: Katherine Logan, Agnes Geraldine Thompkins, Jeffery Scott Smarta and Michae! Isom. Council Member Fosterv was Alsoi ina attendance was City Attorney Hal Hughston, !l, and Administrative. Assistant Kimberly Cole.  Roll Call not available.  Mayor Kery Underwood called the meeting to order @6:02 p.m.  Discussion: "FEMA Firefighter Grant Application" (First Responder Equipment and Protective Gear) Council Member Katherine Logan made a motion to authorize Fire Chief Rodney McAnally to make: application for aF FEMAE Firefighter Operation & Safety Grant, requesting! $109,000 in Grant Funds with City matchingf funds of $5,000 from Firel Department's Budget; seconded by Council Member Geraldine Thompkins. Motion Carrled. Council Member. Jeffery Smart made al motion to authorize Fire Chief Rodney! McAnally to make application for al FEMA Firefighter Vehicle Acquisition Grant, requesting $150,000in Grant Funds, with City matchingi funds of$7,000f from the Fire Department's! Budget; Withr no further business, Council Member Katherine Logan made a motion to adjourn at 6:30p p.m.; seconded by Council Member Geraldine Thompkins.
