MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ECLECTIC TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF ECLECTIC, ALABAMA ECLECTIC MUNICIPAL COURT ROOM August 21st, 2023 @ 7:00 P.M.  At the regular meeting of the Eclectic Town Council held on August 21st, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. ini the Eclectic Municipal Court Room, persons present included, Maggin Edwards, Shannon Duck, Mayor Davenport, Linda Reed, Jackie Stearns, Stephanie Stepney, David Goodwin, Jessica Hoagland and the entire dance  team.  Proceedings were aired live on Facebook.  Mayor Gary Davenport called the meeting to order: 7:07 p.m. Invocation was then given by Mayor Gary Davenport. July 17th, 2023 Regular Council Meeting Minutes oft the Special Called Meeting July 31st, 2023 Minutes oft the Special Called Meeting August 14#,2023  Mayor began the first reading of Ordinance 2023-08-001 regarding a parking fine AI motion to dispense the reading at length and table the Ordinance until next meeting was made by Councilor Stepney and seconded by Councilor A motion to dispense the reading at length of Resolution 2023-08-001- the Yearly Gas Tax transportation plan, was made by Pro-Tem Reed and seconded by Councilor Stepney. (4 yea, 1 absent). Motion passes. Amotion to approve Resolution 2023-08-001 was made by Councilor Goodwin and seconded by Councilor Stepney. (4 yea, 1 absent). Motion Mayor Davenport read for the first reading, Amendment 2023-09-001- regarding A motion was made by Councilor Goodwin to purchase the property behind Original Grace for $9,500 to be used for Parking spaces and was seconded  fee schedule.
