MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ECLECTIC TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF ECLECTIC, ALABAMA ECLECTIC MUNICIPAL COURT ROOM May 15th, 2023 @ 7:00 P.M. At the regular meeting of the Eclectic Town Council held on May 15th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the Eclectic Municipal Court Room, persons present include, Alan Nummy, Maggin Edwards, Shannon Duck. Proceedings were aired live on Facebook. Mayor Gary Davenport called the meeting to order: 7:00 p.m. Invocation was then given by Mayor Gary Davenport. The consent agenda consist of the following: Financial reports for March 2023 Overtime Reports Minutes oft the March 2023 Regular Council Meeting Minutes of the April 2023 Regular Council Meeting Mayor Davenport read for the second reading, the proposed amendment to Ordinance 2010-007 with regards to the reporting process ofr nuisances. AI motion to approve Amendment to Ordinance 2010-007 as written was made by Councilmember Stepney and seconded by Councilmember Goodwin. Motion A motion to approve Resolution 2023-05-001 regarding the yearly Municipal Water Pollution Prevention Program as written was made by Councilmember A motion to contract month to month with Wex Fuel Fleet Cards was made by Councilmember Stepney and seconded by Councilmember Stearns. Ar motion to approve up to $60,000 from the General Fund to pay for at traffic signal in conjunction with Elmore Counties contribution of $100,000 +/- to equal an approximate cost of $150,000, was made by Councilmember Stepney and seconded by Pro-Tem Reed. Motion passes. (5-0). Mayor Davenport read (1st reading) of Amendment to Ordinance 2023-02-001 Mayor suggested a Special Called meeting be set June 12th @ 6 pm to discuss the potential to Amend Ordinance 2012-11 that outlines the passes (5-0).
