MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ECLECTIC TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF ECLECTIC, ALABAMA ECLECTIC MUNICIPAL COURT ROOM October 16th, 2023 @ 7:00 P.M. At the regular meeting of the Eclectic Town Council held on October 16th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. int the Eclectic Municipal Court Room, persons present included, Maggin Edwards, Shannon Duck, Mayor Davenport, Linda Reed, David Goodwin, Lindsay Mothershed, Jackie Stearns, Stephanie Stepney, Clayton Boshell and Easterling Carpenter. Proceedings were aired live on Facebook. Mayor Gary Davenport called the meeting to order: 7:01 p.m. Invocation was then given by Mayor Gary Davenport. Old Business: Mayor announced the Quality-of-Life meeting presented by ECEDA on November 2nd at 9:00 am at the Elmore County courthouse. Mayor also reminded the public about the Maroon Machine Dance Line fun run Blount Street, Howle Street, West Main Street, Varner Street, Mockingbird Lane and First Avenue have been paved with the Rebuild Alabama funds. Mayors Comments: Mayor updated the Council about the progress that is Bellwood sold two homes and 4 homes are being constructed. Central Park/Deer Creek has two homes int the process of construction and are Oaks Subdivision is 90% complete with the sewer installation. Mayor also announced that. Jacks is finished with the sewer installation and ready to start the water and utility installation.
