Minutes from the council meeting held June 28, 2012 were presented. Councilman Moss made ai motion to accept the minutes from the last meeting held. CITIZENSADDRESSING THE COUNCIL A citizen asked ifthere was a list of pickup days for the trash to be pickup in the City- RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Councilman Ivy made a motion for final passage of the truck routes chapter 74 section 74-80 in Creola. Councilman Ivy motion to fix air condition in police car 4 (Officer Thomas) for the amount of Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. $425.00. Councilman Moss second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman K. Walker second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Moss made a motion to pay someone for fixing roofs. Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Ivy motion to accept. Kim Taylor, Dispatchers resignation effective July 23, 2012. Councilman Ivy states that the Fire department and Sail center building has stopped leaking. STREETS Councilman K. Walker asked about the progress on the stripping of the streets. Mayor states that Thompson Engineering is still working on it. Mayor states that the county will bid it out. Councilman K. walker states that the ditches need to be cleaned out on Penny lane. Councilman R. Walker states that the street department needs to purchase some shovels. Councilman R. Walker states that a No parking sign is missing on Dead Lake. Mayor states that aj request has been made for a full time public works employee. A discussion about the water lines and the streets was held in general. Mayor states bids for tractors. 1. Toomey's- $20,350.00 2. Beard - $22,000. 3.
