ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL None RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Mayor presented Resolution for poll workers for the Special Election on December 10, 2013. The following individuals are appointed officials to serve in the election: Mr. George Smith- Chief Clerk, Mr. George Knight- Assistant Clerk, Mr. Harold Martin- Assistant Clerk, Mrs. Audrey Tarver- Assistant Clerk, Mrs. Bonnie Smith- Assistant Clerk, Mrs. Karen Knight- Assistant Clerk. Councilman Ivy made ai motion to accept the Resolution for the Mobile Tensaw River Delta. PLANNING COMMITTEE Councilwoman Green states that the next planning meeting will bel November 19, 2013. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS. AND RECREATION No business Councilwoman Greene states that the circus brought in $615.00 to the city. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Councilwoman Moss states that Commissioner Ludgood and the county commission have approved purchasing the new computer and printer for the senior center. FINANCE Councilwoman Greene presented the bills to pay (General fund- $19,391.37, 4 cents- $6382.64, Councilwoman Greene states that $25,000.00 has been given to the park from the Lemoyne Industrial Park Community Day since 2009. The breakdown of how it was spent $17,000k on sidewalks, $3,000.00 rewiring, $1300.00 for the fence by the soccer field, $1,000.00 for the bleachers, and $1600.00 for repairs of sidewalks to (Mr. Brewer ($800.00) and Mr. Sanders ($800.00). Councilwoman Greene states that there was a check wrote on 10/10/12 for $10,747.00 for playground equipment and it did not come before council or money gave for that purpose. Councilwoman Greene also states that another check was wrote under this council that did not come before the council in the amount of $4250.00 for playground equipment. Mrs. Casie Bennet will be taking pictures with Santa for $5.00 that will be donated back to the Police and Fire Departments. Breaking chains will be performing during the day. The Community group will be selling drinks for a $1.00. The community group will buy Santa throws for no more than $250.00 and will need a tax exempt letter. Chief states that guy ADDITIONAL, NOTES had no insurance and will have to get an estimate. Councilman Heathcoe states we: need to discuss the meetings dates. Mayor states that the city normally suspends the second meeting of the month of November and December due to the holidays. Councilman Heathcoe made ai motion cancel the second meeting of December. Councilman Ivy second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilwoman Greene states that on November 21 the municipal dinner will bel held in Satsuma. Councilwoman Green made a motion to mail out flyers with the vote date. Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mr. Fisher states that Guthrie Lane was paved; it has a low: spot and knows it feels up with water. Mayor states they will fix a punch list for him to sign off on and he will check on this. Mr. Don Moss states for Mayor to fix bell drive. Mayor states he does not have to sign off on Bell but will Mrs. Joan Stringfellow asked what the mayor knows about pipeline. Mayor states he does not know anything about the pipe lines.
