Minutes from the council meeting held on, June 12, 2014 were presented. Councilman Howell made aj motion to accept the minutes from the last meeting. Councilwoman Moss seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  CITIZENSADDRESSING THE COUNCIL  No business  RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Mayor presented resolution forj pay as youg go. Councilman Howell Made ai motion All favored, none opposed, motion carried.  Councilman Heathcoe seconded, city clerk to make correction Hardy to 8/10: not 3/10 ofai mile. Mayor says Rubenstein was wrong, Creola does have planning jurisdiction and he does not know  where he was misinformed. PLANNING COMMITTEE 5:30. June 17 was last meeting 5:30. July 15 to update book next meeting  Rev Chambers would like to do a workshop to bring zoning book to code.  There was a call meeting - Greer submits plans drop down yard phase 1- approved no plans for phase II and III. Explained phase I-invited citizens to come get information not rumor Mrs. Bonnie Harper asked for meeting to bel held with public meeting - Rev. Bill Champers's states there will be a public hearing anyway. Mayor asked Casie to announce date on Facebook Councilman Howell explained that Bonnie said she wants unofficial meeting for questions and  Need to combine PUD and subdivision and zoning board books.  and notice will also bej posted.  answers ofthe people, not just the meeting when they vote. Mayor asked Councilman Howell to remind him to call ADEM about Geer.  ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS  No business  Mrs. Casie Bennet and CCDG states that trash pick-up day will be 7/12.  PARKS AND RECREATION  No business  UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN  Councilwoman Moss states that the glass door should be installed within next week or 2 at the  Sail center. FINANCE Next meeting COMMUNITY GROUP No business POLICE AND FIRE Nothing -Jeff not here Chief-n nothing STREETS  Mayor explained jurisdiction and that he doesn'tknow where Rubenstein got hisi info  Councilman Heathcoe states to get price for culverts from at least 2 bidders  Councilman Heathcoe will be pro tem.
