Upon the call ofroll, the following were found to be present:  Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Nelson Councilman Heathcoe Councilman Ivy Councilwoman Moss Councilman Howell Councilwoman Greene  absent  City clerk and attorney Johnny Lane was present  Minutes from the council meeting held on, September 11, 2014 were presented.  Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting held on September  11,2014.  Councilman Howell seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  CITIVZENSADDRESSING THE COUNCIL  Mrs. Joan Stringfellow states that Allied Waste, BFI & Advance Disposal bid at same time. She stated Advance offered discount to senior citizens at beginning of the contract but she needs the old minutes to prove it. Council and city clerk do not recall a discount for seniors being discussed. Joan said at the time she was not eligible. Needs minutes from 10/07. Mr. Kenny Walker wants to know if Quinley Road repairs have been signed off on yet, mayor Mr. Kenny Walker states someone was boaring under Hall Branch road, Mayor will check with Lemoyne and Don Moss to see who needs to be done and if attorney needs to issue a letter  says they have not been signed offo on.  referencing the ordinance about digging without notifying the city.    Kenny Walker states it is blocking traffic on. Hall Branch. Councilman Howell made a motion to pay for the emergency air conditioning replacement for  Councilman Moss second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  COMMUNITY GROUP No business POLICE AND FIRE No business get prices. STREETS  Fire department annual maintenance for fire department vehicle is requested, Chief Reeves will  Pump test passed on engine will get cheaper rate  Fixed culverts on Holmes Rd.  Pot hole near Halls Branch needs to be repaired. Pot hole in curve near Dead Lake Marina needs to be fixed  ADDITIONAL NOTES Adjournment  Councilman Ivy made ai motion to adjourn the meeting.
