Councilwoman Moss made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 1/8/14. Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITIZENS ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL No business RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS 4/22/15 for the price of $199.00, no lodging necessary. Councilman Howell made a motion for the building inspector, Don Moss to attend school on Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Howell made ai motion for the city clerk and the mayor to renew loan at Regions for new interest rate and to pay off sooner, current loan is 5 years old and still owes over $40,000 and the original amount was $50,000. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS No business CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP The group is taking nominations for citizen of the year, the business of the year has already been Councilwoman Greene states that a steak dinner will be held on 2/14/15 at Creola Assembly of chosen. CCDG meeting is working on calendar to show all events for the year. God church-Valentines steak dinner and kids night out. Thanks to citizens for picking up trash in the community. PARKS AND RECREATION Saturday, would like to finish course. there will be a complete 18 hole course. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Councilwoman Moss: Ball room dance team will be at center 2/10/15 Senior citizen Valentine party 2/12/15 Gospel group Delta Men will be at center on 2/19/15 Finance report was presented on 1/8/15 Councilman Howell states they have installed 9 holes and will be done with them all on Councilman Howell made a motion to add $800.00 or whatever the difference to finish course SO Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Chief made a request to hire someone for 10 hours week for cleaning and filing, court clerk will Councilman Howell made a motion to hire someone to file and clean for about 101 hours a week. Councilwoman moss seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. STREETS them. Ask Don Moss, building inspector to speak to trucking companies about fixing roads. Building inspector to go talk to companies, council had general discussion about streets. Councilwoman Greene made ai motion for Councilwoman Moss to take over: as Pro-tem, ADDITIONAL NOTES Motion died for lack of second. Attorney states it's not necessary, if there is a rotation and someone does not want to take pro- Council will speak to current pro-tem and if he chooses to give it up, the position moves to next tem, the next person in line can do it.
