CITIZENS ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL Councilman Howell made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 12/11/14 with Councilwoman Moss seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mayor announced deaths and illnesses and asked for prayer for all. City will consider. hosting the municipality dinner in September. Council is encouraging all members of board and council to review old and new book for changes and or mistakes before passage. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS No business CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP Councilwoman Greene states that the group will be taking nominations for citizen of year. Councilwoman Greene states that a check for the eagle scouts in the amount $300.00 from Lenzing was donated. PARKS AND RECREATION No business UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Councilwoman Moss states that the seniors will be having a Valentine's Day party in February. FINANCE Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to accept the financial report. Councilwoman Moss seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Howell to get back with Council is aware that there are lots of pot holes, as quick as Bobby gets them repaired, new ones Lorraine Bryan Old Hwy 43 request truck companies to put aprons or concrete at driveways, she also asked what the status was for the trucks to have to pay for damages. The council needs Don Moss to check into putting aprons in necessary area to keep them form tearing up roads and city will not have to be wasting asphalt. ADDITIONAL NOTES Mr. Kenny Walker states that city is responsible for maintaining streets. Johnny Lane states it depends on cause and damage. Layne will check into ordinance on trucks. Mr. Walker saw a good site for cub scouts meeting area. Mayor says look into putting building on city property for boy scouts meeting area, attorney says he is not sure that is legal, he will get back with council at a later time. St Andrews appreciated support of city for live nativity. Chickasaw: is having disk golftournament January 10, 2015. Councilwoman Moss made a motion to adjourn.
