Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 3/12/15. Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITIZENS ADDRESSING THE COUNCIL Mr. Fisher states that he had been out of town and wanted to know if the Mayor had invited the Councilman Howell states that they found out that it is just a courtesy to contact the Mayor and Mr. Kenny Walker asked ift the council was going to vote tonight about John Crenshaw doing the Mr. Walker states that he took the information to Attorney Johnny Lane to go over; and Mr. county engineer out to discuss the road that did not get fixed properly. ont this project they. just turned it in as: finished and did not contact the Mayor. surveyingi job for Ducey Road Lane said what he had is sufficient. Councilwoman Moss states that Kim can call her tomorrow and set up an appointment. Kenny states that he would like to be at the meeting and he wants everything in writing. Councilwoman Moss asked Diane Reed if she knew if Lemoyne water had put the water lines down the middle or on the side of the road. PLANNING COMMITTEE Regular meeting 3/17/15 No business ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION Councilman Howell states that the entire disc golfcourse is complete, with a total cost of about Councilman Howell made a motion to take what was left over from the Eagle Scout project and $6200.00 put in general fund to cover the over part oft the disc golf portion. Councilwoman Moss second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Howell asked that the building inspector be contacted to get in touch with the owners of the mobile home that is located across from the park to get the burn pile of trash Councilman Howell states that the city has a Kubota tractor that has the same size deck that the Councilman Heathcoe made ai motion for Councilman Howell to take Kubota tractor to friend to Councilwoman Greene second, 4 favored- Councilman Howell abstained, none opposed, Councilman Howell asked to put flyers out on May 2 for the ministerial association gathering, cleaned up. zero turn has, and has been sitting for 4-5 years. see what it would take to fix. motion carried. stating that the disc golf course will be closed until 2pm that afternoon. Councilman Howell states that dogs are in the park running off the leash. He does not have a problem with you taking your dog to the park just clean up after your dog. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Councilwoman Moss asked about the stripping supplies for the senior parking lot. FINANCE Councilwoman Green made a motion for the plaques to be paid out of park fund in the amount of $283.50. Councilwoman Moss second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilwoman Greene states that there is a clean-up day scheduled for this Saturday (3/28) from 8-10am, will meet at City Hall. Keep mobile beautiful has donated all the supplies. Easter bunny breakfast is April 4 at Creola Assembly sponsored by McDonalds and Platts. This event is free. Breakfast is 9-1lam with Easter egg hunt to follow. Caitlyn Wright, a citizen, goes to Citronelle high school, she is on the semi qualification IQ team and they placed 3rd. Satsuma Cub scouts will meet in the Satsuma Methodist Church; they no longer will meet at the senior building. They needed more space with small rooms. The cub scouts will be taking candy and Councilwoman Moss states that the CCDG will be giving the junior and seniors that live in placed 2nd. stuffed animals to the children's home on Good Friday. Creola a tea on May 3rd from 2-4pm at the senior building. POLICE AND FIRE ChiefTaylor No police business Fire dept. -no fire business bring back at a later date. STREETS ChiefTaylor would like to purchase body cameras for the police officers. They will research and Councilman Heathcoe states that Mr.Bobby has been filling in pot holes. Councilman Heathcoe states that for the past 2 days hel helped bobby haul 20 loads of gravel. Councilman Heathcoe made. aj motion to put tires on the red truck.
