Jerry Taylor Chiefof Police AGENDA FOR THE CITY OF CREOLA COUNCIL MEETING HELD AT CREOLA CITY HALL ON April 23, 2015 @ 6:00pm Mayor called the meeting to order and gave invocation. Upon the call ofroll, the following were found to be present: Pledge of Allegiance MayorNelson Councilwoman Greene Councilman Heathcoe Councilman Ivy Councilwoman Moss Councilman Howell absent City clerk and City attorney were present. Councilman Howell made ai motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 4/9/15. Councilman Heathcoe seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITIZENSADDRESSING THE COUNCIL Mr. Levi Marks asked for an update on Ducey Rd. Mayor states that a survey was ordered at the last council meeting, and then it will have to be probated. Mayor also spoke with Nayyer Mahdi, she can possibly help thru the CCDG with Ducey Rd in phases. Mayor states that the last time He spoke with her, he was told that it would cost a million dollars to do the engineer work, pave, and drainage issues. Councilwoman Moss states that she also spoke with Mrs. Mahdi and the first phase would be drainage. Each phase would be aj new community development grant and a process to go thru. Council is not sure when the work will be done, but will keep citizen posted. RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Councilwoman Greene spoke on the budget for municipal dinner in the amount of $2500.00. Councilwoman Greene made a motion for al budget of $2,500.00 for the municipal dinner. Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Council will decide on menu and it will come to a vote at a later meeting. PLANNING COMMITTEE Rev. Bill Chambers states that they had a good meeting and getting info together for grant. Rev. Chambers states that they will be ready if approved and will call town meetings for community involvement.
