RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Councilman Howell made ai motion to accept Mr. John Crenshaw proposal to do the boundary surveying work on Ducey Rd. Mayor asked when they were going to start the groups to pay the grant back. Councilwoman Greene and Rev. Councilwoman Moss states that the CCDG will start an annual Tea party for all Creola residents Councilwoman Green and Mrs. Becky state that the community trash pickup day on. March 28 was great. They picked up 20 bags oft trash. A big thank you to all that come out to help. Councilwoman Greene thanked McDonald's for donating a case of Councilwoman Greene states that they are planning a city wide cleanup day on May 30. This will be a combined effort with the Creola community group and the Creola Axis ministerial group. Will meet at Creola assembly and work from 9-1lam and have a hot dog lunch to follow. POLICE AND FIRE Chief Taylor states that the health department did an inspection last month and states that the shower area needs to be painted. Chief states that they would like to paint the inside ofthe jail as well. The paint that would have to be used cost around $250.00 and can be paid out oft the Creola correction account. Councilman Howell made a motion to purchase the paint. Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Chief Taylor states that they need to order finger print cards, supplies and upgrade inmate property bags that will cost around $310.00 that can be paid out of correction account. Chief request to change the daily wear of the uniforms to khaki pants and a black polo shirt with an embroidered badge. The officers would wear the regular uniform at special occasion still. This change over can be paid out of the police equipment fund. Councilman Howell made ai motion to change out the uniform for police officers. Councilwoman Greene second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Chiefs states that he will be out April 27- -May 41 for schooling. Chiefrequest to use 2 units for the women prayer walk route for over time. Councilman Howell made a motion to use 2 units for the walk. Mayor states that ifit works out and ift the money is there possible looking into purchasing a couple of used cars. Mayor asked to get some estimates for body camera for the officers.
