Councilman Howell made ai motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 4/23/15. Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  CITIZENS. ADDRESSING: THE COUNCIL Mayor thanked everyone for participating in Relay for life. RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS  No business  PLANNING COMMITTEE No new: information on grant  Car dealership is requesting to open in Creola, there will be a hearing 5/19/15 by Zoning Board  at 6pm.  Rev. Chambers thanked everyone for day in the park.    ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION  No business  Councilman Howell sent ai message the boards are in to finish disc golf.  UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Waiting on price for awning, will have by next meeting. Mayor says there has been no problem with form for using facilities. Councilwoman Moss made a motion to accept the financial report. Councilman Heathcoe seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP Yard sale June 6, from 8-1, there will be time to set up from 7-7:45. Senior breakfast coming in June- no date yet.  FINANCE  POLICE. AND FIRE  Chief Taylor will find out what Mt. Vernon pays for bridge inspections, which firm they use and Chief States city of Mobile wants to change legal age to be a police officer to 19 but he wants to  did their fee double like Creola's did. leave age at 21 for Creola. STREETS  Councilman Heathcoe states that Bobby is busy- start looking for someone to help. Councilman Heathcoe will look into names but will not choose. Mr. Brown has been helping and its been going well. Councilwoman Greene will post for part time help for street department on city site.
