Mr. Williams and Ms. Frost with Woodman Lodge 384 presented the Creola Community Mrs. Venus Davis, president of the CCDG, states that the flags will be displayed in median on Hwy 43 during patriotic holidays. Councilman Howell would like tol know from the attorney how to get a quick claim deed from a person that has al lot that is designated to them but the right ofway was not. CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP Mrs. Venus and Mrs. Becky reported that during the community cleanup day they have report of 28 volunteers they came to help. (Mrs. Ellen with Saint Andres, Boy scouts pack 324, Pastor John White, and materials were donated by keep mobile beautiful and a $150.00 donation from Lemoyne Industrial park to help feed the volunteer's lunch.) Chief states that the Chief of police FBI conference cost $1100.00 which includes airfare but chiefis willing to pay his own air fare if city pays $765 conference fees and registration. Councilwoman Greene states no business from the fire department. Council wants a financial report from the Volunteer fire department. Council also states that before the fire department gets other vehicles they need tol bring it before the council. STREETS Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to hire the chosen candidate for street department at minimum wage for three days a week. He will be working under Bobby to help where needed. Mayor asked Kim to try to get tablets to put in ditches for the Mosquito's from the county. Councilman Heathcoe states that it is time for Councilwoman Moss to be pro-tem. Councilwoman Greene states that the Governor Preparedness conference is in July; the cost is Councilwoman Greene made a motion to pay the $50.00 if someone from the council or Mayor Councilwoman Greene states there is a cleanup day at the Cemetery July 18 and on June 281 there Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mrs. Becky Smith spoke about picking up trash and by the next day trash was everywhere, Mrs. Smith asked for No littering signs. Councilman Howell states that Chickasaw is planning to donate some of their benches to the Councilman Howell stated that the grill at the park was in bad shape and Mr. Dennis Williams and his son took it home and repaired it at no expense to city.
