Bro. John White gave invocation. Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Nelson Councilwoman Greene Councilman Heathcoe Councilman Ivy Councilwoman Moss absent Councilman Howell Upon the call ofroll, the following were found to be present: Christie filled in for City clerk and City attorney was present. Councilman Howell made ai motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 7/9/15. Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITIZENS. ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL Mayor states that Mr. Bobby is doing a great job. Mr. Ryals appreciated pot holes being fixed on Dead Lake Marina Rd going to St. Andrews church. Mr. Fisher would like to see the people putting trash on the road get caught. Mayor states that ift they can be caught or get a tag number they willl be prosecuted. ChiefTaylor states that signs have been ordered. Councilman Greene asked ifar receipt is found with a name on it, what can be done. ChiefTaylor states a Mr. Walker from Brown Rd asked that the limbs on his street need trimming. Councilman Heathcoe receipt not so much but mail with a name and address can be prosecuted. states he will tell Bobby. RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Mayor states that they need a list of projects for thel LIP $5,000.00 donation. Cm 7.23.15 Page 1 1. Extending the existing concrete walk way 2. Tee-Pads for disk golf 3. Park Benches 4. Fencing for Parking Councilman Howell made ai motion to submit the list to LIP. Councilman Ivy second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. PLANNING COMMITTEE Mr. Chambers stated they have a subdivision with 61 homes/lots coming in. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION No business Councilman Howell made ai motion to spend $300.00 for plates for disk golf. Councilman Ivy second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Finance presented at the next meeting. Mayor asked ift the awning had come in. Councilwoman Greene states may be ready next week. FINANCE CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP Councilwoman Greene made a motion for the girl scouts to use the Sail center on August 30 from 2-4pm. Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Movie in park is coming. Details later POLICE AND FIRE STREETS Councilman Heathcoe states that Wenco will be cleaning out ditches on Rio Honda tomorrow. Mayor states that limbs need to be cut on Halls branch. Mayor states to make sure that the street department has plenty of fluids. Mayor states that they had an issue with some hogs but it was handled. ADDITIONAL NOTES building inspector. Mayor states that if anyone has maintenance or small job type issues to address it to Don Moss, Councilman Howell states that a citizen ruined a tire on a raised culvert on Theophilus Rd. Mayor states that they will go see what can be done. Councilman Ivy thanked the fire and police department for all their help. Adjournment Councilman Ivy made a motion to adjourn.
