Councilwoman Greene made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 11/12/15 Councilman Heathcoe seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mayor pro tem Moss presented the ordinance 2015-15 (manufactured homes guidelines) Councilman Howell made a motion to adopt the rules as presented. Councilman Heathcoe seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Roll call for adopting the rules for the mobile home guidelines. Councilman Howell Councilwoman Moss Councilman Ivy Councilman Heathcoe Councilwoman Greene Mayor Nelson Motion passed by unanimous vote yes yes yes yes yes absent Mrs. Lawana Brown asked the council for help on Ducey Rd in the form of drainage, rocks, grading, etc. Mrs. Brown states that the road is very difficult to get down and probably emergency vehicles cannot get down this road at certain times. Councilwoman Green states that the council can get some prices from Steve Criswell and: maybe some other companies to start thej process of maybe taken care oft the holes with slag or grading the road, then eventually apply for the CBDG grade. Councilman Howell states that the city used to pay for the labor for the county to come out and work on ditches and grading roads on Saturdays, maybe check in to see ift this is available still. Councilman Howell asked if the citizens on Ducey had purchased culvert for their driveways a while back. Mrs. Brown states that they did back in 1983 when there were only about 10 people living back there. There is about 20 living there now. Councilwoman Green states that she is aware that there is not a motion but can'ts something be started tol help out. Mayor pro tem Moss states that Councilman Heathcoe is over the roads and can check into what can be done. Councilman Howell states to also check out the county to see ifit still available to Councilman Heathcoe made ai motion to get prices for ditch work on Ducey and get rocks and or the city. dirt tol help. Ducey Rd, Lister Lane, ADA improvements, Brown Rd, Holmes Rd Mrs. Kim states that anything that needs to be added needs to be turned in before the first meeting in January. PLANNING COMMITTEE Rev. Chambers thanked the council for putting the mobile home ordinance inj place. Rev. Chambers states that the work shop for the planning committee will be held at city hall.1/15/16. The meeting for January will bel held at the Sail center. The meetings will be posted by next week. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION No business Councilman Howell states that they would like to put more trash cans at Crenshaw Park. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN account to the general fund account. FINANCE Councilwoman Greene made a motion to close the tax account and move the money market Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilwoman Greene asked about the $100.00 dues for the municipal dinner meetings. Baptist Christmas tree lighting tonight at 6pm and hot chocolate afterwards. POLICE AND FIRE Councilman Ivy states no business Councilwoman Greene states she spoke with chief Reeves about calls. 25: medical calls, 1 house fire for the month. 12.8.15 Page 3 Councilman Howell asked chiefif the police department was still working bridge. Chief states yes that they work with the county to work the bridge. STREETS Councilman Heathcoe stated that Bobby has been busy putting rocks out Councilman Heathcoe motion to fix truck in the amount of $656.00 Councilman Howell second, all: favored, none opposed, motion carried. The Hydraulic Pump went out on the flatbed truck ADDITIONAL NOTES Counciwoman Greene asked ift they can move city limit sign and police jurisdiction sign. ChiefTaylor will get with Bobby and have the jurisdictional sign moved and Kim will make sure any businesses involved will be notified. Adjournment Councilman Heathcoe made ai motion to adjourn.
