ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL Mrs. Lawanna Brown thanked the Mayor and Council for bringing dirt to put on Ducey rd. Mayor asked about parcels. Kim states that Foster parcel is posted itj just need tol be recorded. Councilman Howell states that the Creola Municipal Park bathrooms are moving forward under the county project. Also when the water is down at Crenshaw Park the trash UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Councilwoman Moss states that the picture of the big Oak tree is being completed and Mayor states that he wished the city owned the small parcel of land the Oak tree is on SO getting ready to hang. they could put a fence around it to protect FINANCE No business No business POLICE AND FIRE CREOLA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP Mayor updated about the loan. Mrs. Kim separated $4500.00 from the bidding process for the fire trailer and $4500.00 for the police charger that the council approved to sale. Mayor states that he recommends to the council that they split the money in those Councilman Howell made a motion for the money to be split between the police account Councilwoman Moss seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mayor states that this is for the sale of the trailer. The charger was something that the chiefacquired and Chief Reeves was using but was police department property. Mayor states that the council had a workshop that was posted, about purchasing a fire Mayor asked if they would have to go up and get the fire truck. Kendall states he is not sure. Chief Taylor states to weigh your options out -what would it cost to go pick it up Mayor states that the fire department has a truck that is about 30 years old. Councilman Howell made a motion to purchase the fire truck for $29,000. Mayor states that Creola Baptist church is having a revival this Sunday and Monday night at 6pm. Mayor states to send Bobby over to drag Brown rd. how they pick and choose what to accept and pay for. Councilman Heathcoe made ai motion to adjourn. A citizen asked about why Brown Rd has not been paved ifit was a top choice presented to the pay as you go program.
