Councilman Ivy made ai motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 3/24/16. Councilman Heathcoe seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITILENS ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL No business RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Councilwoman Greene made ai motion to participate in the National Day of] Prayer May 5,2016 at 121 noon at City Hall and the Creola Axis Ministerial Association will assist with this event. Councilman Ivy second, all: favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilwoman Greene states that a citizen had approached her about doing an ordinance about saggy pants. The council had discussed this issue during the pre-meeting and would like to get a copy of Bayou La Batre ordinance for the chiefand attorney tol look over and bring back at the next meeting. Cm 4.14.16 page: 1 PLANNING COMMITTEE workshop and 6pm meeting. Councilwoman Greene states that the next meeting will be April 19, 2016 at 5pm ZONING BOARD OF. ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION No business Councilman Ivy made ai motion for $500.00 to go toward finishing the trash can project at Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Howell states that Mr. Sam will be getting with him with an estimate on fixing the bathroom doors at the park and the new bathrooms are moving ahead. the park. UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN No business FINANCE Councilwoman Greene made a motion to accept the financial report. Councilman Ivy seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to pay the bills that were presented. Councilman Ivy seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilman Ivy states that both departments are satisfied. Chiefstates that the cameras should be in Thursday morning. POLICE AND FIRE STREETS Councilman Heathcoe states that he went to the Mobile county commissioners planning board meeting about Ducey Rd grant. This process will be done in 3 phases. The first phase of this grant that was approved was for a total of $350,000. A citizen asked if Lyons Dr was going to be fixed. Councilman Howell states that since the city annexed Ducey Rd into the city, the city expenditures exceed $15,000.00 in less than a years time. Councilman Howell states that the city is doing the best it can do. The citizens asked if gravel could be put on Lyons Dr. Councilman Howell states that the rocks are not available to get when ever you want. Councilman Howell states that Councilman Heathcoe will check on the rocks. A citizen states that Talica is a cheap type of rock that can fix holes. Council said they will check into it. The council states that the grant money can only be used for Ducey Rd and the county will use it how they see fit on the road. ADDITIONAL NOTES Creola Lane.
