Rev. Chambers gave invocation. Pledge of Allegiance Upon the call ofroll, the following were found to be present: Mayor Nelson Councilwoman Greene Councilman Heathcoe Councilman Ivy Councilwoman Moss absent Councilman Howell absent City clerk was present and City attorney was absent. Councilman Heathcoe made a motion to accept the minutes from the meeting 5/12/16. Councilwoman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. CITIZENS, ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL No business RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Saturday. The class would be free to the public. Councilwoman Greene states that Mr. Terry Foster would like to offera a Hunting education class on the listed dates June 27 and 28 6-10pm and July 23 8-5pm on Councilwoman Greene made ai motion to allow Mr. Foster to hold hunting education Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. class. Councilman Howell asked Chief to just follow up. Chiefs stated Mr. Foster will have certifications to present, motion based on qualifications being verified by chief. Chambers states that no new business and the next few meetings there will be no Ms. Nicole from SARPC will not be at the meetings and this will give her time to catch up on documentation of maps Rev. No business ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS PARKS AND RECREATION Councilman Howell states that nothing has changed on the bathrooms, no bids have been Councilwoman Greene needs a list for the $5,000.00 to be spent ini the park.(things on the list: extending walking trail, swings etc. Councilman Howell states to add a fence between soccer filled and old 43 to the list. FINANCE Next meeting POLICE AND FIRE No business Councilman Heathcoe asked about the cameras that are, going at Crenshaw Park. Chiefs states they are waiting on Alabama power to set poles. STREETS No business ADDITIONAL NOTES Councilwoman Greene states that Caitlyn Wright from Creola is salutatorian for Citronelle High school. Councilman Howell states that the inspector needs to go to park Councilman Howell states that they have a check for ministerial association for $200.00. Rev. Chambers thanked the city from ministerial for the donation and for their support. Rev. Chambers thanked community and Police dept for support for the prayer walk. and check on the pile of debris across from pavilion. Councilman Howell appreciates churches in community.
