Joan Stringfellow asked if the court was given any special privilege to use the senior building as a court building. Mayor states that they have talk to Nayyer Madia who is 6pm Sail center. Councilvroman Greene seconded, all favored, none opposed, motion carried Mayor states that there is a recommendation to adopt the personnel board 3.1 rules, relating to comp time in lieu of overtime. Mayor states that the Chief recommends this rule, most municipalities have adopted this. Councilman Ivy motioned to adopt 3.1 rule, attendance and leave. Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Councilwoman Greene motioned from the pay period starting September 3 until November 1 any overtime for police department will be comp time in lieu of overtime. Councilwoman Moss second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mr. Kendall Hadaway states that the Fire department is selling shirts for breast cancer for $20.00. ADDITIONAL NOTES Melvin Enzor asked why motion was rescinded instead of tabling. Mayor states that it needs to go before zoning board to make sure the property has been subdivided.
