Councilwoman Moss made a motion to accept the minutes from the meetings 10/27/16, 11/3/16, 11/7/16, and 11/10/16. RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Mayor Criswell states that they had the Municipal dinner at Steel Creek. Counciwoman Greene states that Creola and Mr. Vernon swap out doing the Municipal dinner every other year and they have spoken with the new. Mayor ofMt. Vernon and he would like to switch with Creola to host the Municipal dinner in September. Cm 11.28.16 1 Councilwoman Greene made a motion for Creola to host the Municipal Dinner on September 17 at Creola Assembly. Mr. John McDonald, CEO ofIntegra states that they are doing a corporate restructure and making the company more flexible to add an additional equity into Integra -Creola in the future. Councilwoman Greene asked ifit would be 3 or more companies /franchises. Mr. McDonald states that it would only be one franchise still. Councilman Martin asked what the new: name of the entity. Mr. McDonald states that it does not have a name yet because it is not completed but it will be the Newco and Integra but will be owned by 100% Integra. Councilwoman Moss asked if they were upgrading the sewer lines. Mr. McDonald states that they are preparing for more growth. Councilwoman Greene states thatthet board will have a meeting December 20 at 6pm. Councilwoman Greene states that they did their first billing of the $15,000 for the grant and it should be finished in March. The planning book should be ready by then also. They have over $33,000 in-kind that they have worked. Mayor Criswell explains what all of this means. He states that they have worked with SARPC (South Alabama Regional Planning Commission) for about a year to develop a long range plan for the City ofCreola. ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS Mayor Criswell asked if anyone was here from the board. Cm 11.28.16 2 PARKS AND RECREATION states that the fence is up. No Businesses FINANCE Councilwoman Moss states that they are working on the bathrooms. Mayor Criswell UTILITIES AND SENIOR CITIZEN Mayor Criswell states that Councilwoman Greene, Councilwoman Moss and Mrs. Kim are working on developing a budget for next year. Mayor Criswell states that they are working with the fire and poliçe departments as well. As ofright know they are saving $200,000.000 overall. Councilman Martin complimented the volunteer fire department for how they have Councilman Martin states that ChiefRic Daves is doing an outstanding, job. He is making some changes and getting everything reorganized. Mayor Criswell states they will be: speaking with the people of Axis about joining Creola. Creola has provided police and fire protection for years for Axis. Mayor states that they are going to put together a program on a Saturday and see if they can use Axis Baptist Church facility to hold a meeting in the Axis area and sit down and talk with the Axis residents. Axis residents also get the use of the Creax School Scholarship fund. Mayor Criswell states he would like to see Axis stay Axis just fall under Creola umbrella. Mrs. Kim states to just get her a list and she can resubmit if Ms. Bennett asked Mayor Criswell if paving roads is one of the reasons to bring in Axis to Creola. Councilwoman Greene states that it is on the pay as you go but will be resubmitted on the CBDG. This will be the only meeting. The Mayor and council will have a workshop at the end of the month but no meeting; the date will be Councilwoman Greene states that Councilman Hadaway states that every volunteer Fire person that they have on the department is certified by the Alabama Fire College. Mayor states that this is good for the citizens because the first oft the year we go back for our ISO rating. It affects your house insurance.
