Upon the call ofroll, the following were: found to be present:  Pledge ofAllegiance Mayor Nelson Councilwoman Greene Councilman Heathcoe Councilman Ivy Councilwoman Moss Councilman Howell  City clerk was present and City attorney was absent CITIZENS ADDRESSINGTHE COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES OTHER BUSINESS Mayorread resignations oroligerkemlioms  Councilman Howell motioned to accept Officer Thomas resignation in good standing. Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  Mayor read resignation of Corporal Shaun Wood.  Councilwoman Greene motioned to accept Corporal Wood's resignation in good  standing.  Councilman Howell second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried.  Mayor thanked the officer for their service.  POLICE AND FIRE  Cm 11.3.16  1    Mayor states that one of the fire trucks is down with an estimate of$1400.00 to fix from  Ward International.  Councilman Ivy made a motion to repair the fire truck for $1400.00. Councilman Heathcoe second, all favored, none opposed, motion carried. Mayor states the fence post is going up at the park by the soccer field.  ADDITIONAL NOTES  Mayor presented Chief Taylor with aj plaque. Mayor states that he has been a blessing to Councilwoman Greene and Mayor states that Saturday , November 5,2016 is community day at the park from 9am-lpm and prayer in the park at 6:30pm.  the city  Adjournment  Councilman Ivy made ai motion to adjourn.
