The Council of the City of Creola, Alabama met in the Creola City Hall at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor William Criswell. We were led in prayer by Mayor William Roll call was taken by Lee Anne Greene. Present at the meeting was Lee Anne Greene, Avis Walker, Tonya Moss, and Mayor William Criswell. Brandy Davis, City Clerk, and Marcy Brown, Administrative Assistant. Harold Martin and Kendal Hadaway were absent. A quorum Due to the mandated stay at home order with no more than 10 individuals per group meeting, the guidelines were followed and only 10 individuals were present. For this reason, Marcy Brown Approval of the Minutes - The minutes of the April 9, 2020 regular meeting minutes were reviewed. A motion was made by Tonya Moss to accept the minutes as written. The motion was  Criswell. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Bill Criswell.  wasi in attendance.  videotaped the meeting fori individuals to view via Facebook Live.  seconded by Avis Walker. All in favor and the motion was carried. Citizens to Address Council - There were no citizens to address the council.  Item #7- Billl List the motion was carried.  Mrs. Greene made ai motion toj pay the bills. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. All in favor and  See the attached banking information with the amounts for all bank accounts.    Item #8 - New Business  a. Fire Truck Repair - New tires were purchased for the Fire Truck. The repair bill is approximately $5200.00. $2000.00 will be used from the Fire account and the remainder  will come from the City General account.  Item #9 - Mayors Discussion Rd., Wards Ln., and Old Hwy 43.  Mayor Criswell informed the council that the Pay -As-You-Go is out for bid on. Halls Branch Testing for COVID-19 will be available to First Responders, as needed. The City will pay for the testing. The swab test is $15.00, and the nasal test is $40.00. The motion was made by Mrs. Greene and seconded by Ms. Walker. All in favor and the motion was carried. Mayor Criswell presented two proposals for the reconstruction oft the old City Hall building. The proposal from Mosley Building Systems was for $26,734.00 and the second proposal was from M.L. Eubanks for $21,926.00. Ms. Greene made the motion to accept the bid from M.L. Eubanks Ms. Greene YES, Mr. Walker YES, Ms. Moss YES, Mayor Criswell YES. Motion was passed. Ms. Moss made ai motion to adjourn the meeting. Mrs. Greene seconded the motion.
