The Council of the City of Creola, Alabama, met in the Creola City Hall at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor William Criswell. We were led in prayer by Carl Walker. Roll call was taken by Brandy Davis. Present at the meeting was Lee Anne Greene, Avis Walker, Tonya Moss, Harold Martin, Kendal Hadaway, Mayor William Criswell, Brandy Davis, City Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, CDC rules were followed for social distancing. For this reason, Marcy Brown videotaped the meeting fori individuals to view via Facebook Live. Approval of the Minutes - The minutes of the June 11, 2020, regular meeting minutes were reviewed. A motion was made by Kendal Hadaway to accept the minutes, as written. The motion The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Bill Criswell. Clerk, and Marcy Brown, Administrative Assistant. was seconded by Avis Walker. All in favor, and the motion was carried. Item #7-- Bill List carried. After presenting the financials and bill list, Mrs. Greene made a motion to approve the financial report and bill list as presented. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. All in favor and the motion was See the attached banking information with the amounts for all bank accounts. Item #8- New Business- a. Due to safety reasons and auditor's request, Mrs. Greene made a motion to approve changing the City debit card, to a City credit card. The limit will be set to $3000.00. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. All in favor and the motion was carried. b. The Notice of Election was presented. The Mayor mentioned that a City employee cant Mr. Walker made a motion to approve al bank account to be set up, for the use of the Parks and Recreation Department. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. Mrs. Greene made ai motion to move forward with the quote, from Communication Technology Services, Inc., to upgrade the existing hard drive, for the security camera storage, that is located at the City Hall. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. All in favor and e. The City Census, for the City of Creola, is currently at 53.4%. More citizens need to fill out the census. Mrs. Greene made a motion toj put up reminder signs, throughout the City of Creola. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. A quote was given by Signs By Design. Ms. f. City Hall will start using an updated records request form. Anyone requesting records, Liz Young, with Young and Associates, will be working with the City of Creola, to recover: monies owed the city, from Police Officers that went through the Police Academy, then left the City, before fulfilling their two-year contract.
