The Council of the City of Creola, Alabama, met in the Creola City Hall at 6:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor William Criswell. We were led in prayer by John White. Roll call was taken by Brandy Davis. Present at the meeting was Lee Anne Greene, Avis Walker, Tonya Moss, Harold Martin, Kendal Hadaway, Mayor William Criswell, Brandy Davis, City Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, CDC rules were followed for social distancing. For this reason, Marcy Brown videotaped the meeting fori individuals to view via Facebook Live. Approval of the Minutes - The minutes of the May 14, 2020, regular meeting minutes were reviewed. A motion was made by Kendal Hadaway to accept the minutes, with the correction of the spelling of Lee Anne Greene's name. The motion was seconded by Avis Walker. All in The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Bill Criswell. Clerk, and Marcy Brown, Administrative Assistant. favor, and the motion was carried. Item #7- Bill List carried. After presenting the financials and bill list, Mrs. Greene made ai motion to approve the financial report and bill list as presented. Ms. Moss seconded the motion. Item #8- Old Business- Kendal Hadaway made a motion to approve Resolution 2020-004, to make insurance available to all new employees on their first day ofs service instead ofwaiting a 90-day probationary period. Harold Martin seconded the motion. The City ofCreola notaries will no. longer notarize documents for the public. b. COVID-19 Update- City Hall is still closed until more information is given by Gov. Kay Ivey.
