Asa child growing upi in Upstate New York, in the border country of the Mohican and the Mohawk, people who lived in Longhouses, and the person that controlled the Longhouse was the elder women "Squaws". The Longhouse was divided into family areas; yet had a common lane that went down the center of the longhouse. Our Squaw Valley (tribe)i is similar, the lane divided our twenty-nine families. Myself and my wife and retired female neighbor are original inhabitances of Squaw Valley Lane, Isurveyed opinions on this change. Emphatically we see no reason for a name Asa participant ini the Squaw Valley tribe, Ishare the fruits (Peaches, Grapes and Cherry's) of my land with my families Yet the land governor charges more and more for thel life-giving water flowing through our Longhouse. Trash.  We bought into Squaw Valley Lane; not sure if we would have bought on lizard lane....  For that matter in 35) years, Ihave not seen al lizard at my house, to sandy of an environment, not like living in rocky Fori that matter My wife and Ihave hiked all over Sothern California and Arizona, we are yet to see Chuckwalla lizard.
