CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: Councimember Hall spoke about the International Council of Shopping Centers Councilmember Koval spoke about the SLEMSA meeting with the assistance of the Fire Chief; she spoke about a San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) meeting she attended; she also attended the Special Olympics at West Hills High School hosted by the Kiwanis as the Co-Master of Ceremonies; and she reported on the Santee School Mayor Minto spoke about SANDAG meetings and projects; he also provided history of conference he attended and future developments in the City of Santee. District Academic Achievement Awards. how Santee came to adopt its' Marine units. CITY MANAGER REPORTS: The City Manager acknowledged the Publics Services staff for all the hard work they do; she also reminded the community about the following events: Friday Nights Live at Santee Trolly Square, the Santee Street Fair sponsored by the Santee Chamber of Commerce, and Heroes Golf Classic. CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS: The City Attorney reported that there could be action out of the Closed Session. CLOSED SESSION: Council Members recessed at 7:24 p.m. and convened in Closed Session at 7:27 p.m. (16) Conference with Legal Counsel-E Existing Litigation (Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1) Name of Case: City of Santee V. Santee Trolley Square 991, LP, San Diego Superior Court Case No. 37-2022-00035836-CU-OR-CTL Councilmembers reconvened in Open Session at 7:33 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Minto reported a vote was taken to give direction to solve the case with Santee Trolley Square by a unanimous vote.
