Mayor Bob. Joslin called the meeting to order. Upon roll call, thei following answered present: MIKEALLEN JOHNNYHART ALANMILLER MITCH STONE MARK GULLION Also present were. Denise Williams (City Clerk), Katie. Jones (Administrative. Assistant), Rodney Edmondson Mayor Joslin declared a quorum present and opened the meeting for the transaction of business. Council The minutes of thel March 4, 2024, regular meeting was approved by unanimous vote upon a motion made Mayor Joslin reminded the Council of the staff reports madei ini the work session. The Mayor then moved to the first item of new business, and declared a Public Hearing and opened thei floor for any comments related to the Rezone of5 521 6th Avenue NW, no one sought recognition therefore thel Mayor closed the public hearing and reported The Mayor then moved to the second item of new business, an Ordinance to Rezone 521 6h Avenue NW (from GB to R3). Council Member Allen moved to suspend the reading, Council Member Miller seconded and all voted yes. Council Member Miller moved to suspend the Rules, Council Member. Allen seconded, and all voted yes, Council Member Hart asked exactly where the property was and Kim Johnson provided him thel location. Council Member Stone moved to Adopt the Ordinance, Council Member Allen seconded and all voted yes. The Mayor then moved to the third item of new business, Approval of Solid Waste Bid Specifications. Council Member Hart moved to Approve, Council Member Gullion seconded and: all voted yes. The Mayor then moved tot thei fourth item ofr newl business, al Resolution to authorize an Agreement with SCS for Landfill Services. Council Member Miller moved to suspend the reading, Council Member Gullion seconded and all voted yes. Council Member. Allen moved to suspend the Rules, Council Member Stone seconded and all voted yes. Council Member Gullion moved to. Adopt thel Resolution, Council Member Stone seconded. and all voted yes. Mayor Joslin then opened up the floor for public comment. Tim Sosebee and 4 other Lion's Club Members were present and reported on the outreach of the Lion's Club. Jeremy King then addressed the Council regarding when contractors can again begin using the City landfill as soon as possible. With no one else desiring to comment, Council Member Allen moved to adjourn the meeting and Council Member Miller seconded and all voted yes.
