City Council Minutes Special Meeting March 19, 2024  1. Opening Ceremonies:  Mayor. Jolly called meeting to order at 6:16pm  Those in attendance were City Secretary Naconal Martinez, City Administrator Derek Stephens and Councilmembers S. Braddock, S. Henderson, and S. Discuss, Consider, and take action on approving the Interlocal Agreement for  Downtown Revitalization Program with SPAG for the EDC  Kristina- The City started the who process last year buty y'all were unable to geti it sowe  decided to pick it up. Kristina- The EDC will puti in $50,000 and the Grant is for $500,000  Kristina- No, we are reapplyingi for the grant. SPAG would cover financial stability. Discuss update on EDC Pool Grant:  Kristina- The pool granti is $217,500. We went with our first quote from Tropical Pools. We had at total of 4 quotes. We will get all new upgrades. New deck fort the entire pool, heaters Derek- Will they provide training to our departments fort the newe equipment and howi to  fort the inside oft the pool, slides, and updated diving boards.  maintain it? Kristina- Wel have people looking at them and we are waiting for their quotes.    Derek-Ireallyt think we need to looki into getting some type of security system inj place due  tot thel break-ins that wel have had ini the past. Kristina- Iwill looki into that.
