COMMISSIONERS DISCUSSION  Approved Richland Township request to utilize sales tax funds toj pay for the widening ofTownship Road 251 that the Logan County Engineer's office is performing per a signed agreement. Commissioner Yoder moved; Commissioner Antram seconded to approve. Richland Township to utilize sales tax funds. Commissioner  Robinson was not present. Motion carried. Armstrong, State Representative Barhorst, Daniel Fitzpatrick, and David Wilson to discuss funding for Logan County Tornado Liaison position. Another discussion on expenditures of position to be covered by funding. Commissioner Yoder explained the position is ai temporary position and anticipates the salary being $22K. The Commissioner Yoder, Commissioner Antram met with Logan Acres Lorraine Fischio, Julia Hower, and Amy Carroll- Ms. Hower provided financial updates on the Homestead and the Care Center. Care Center cash flow from operations increased $733 excluding construction disbursements and the biller's Medicaid adjustment removal. Construction Fund Cash decreased $282,256 due to payment to RCS Construction. Revenue adjustment decreased $43,839 Medicaid adjustment due to reclassification ofRUGS billings. May 2024  state is researching help with funding the position.  operating cash decreased $9,238, paid $96,941 debt service payment June 2024.    Homestead resident collections $130,489, an: increase of $6,576 from March resultingi in a $5,418 debit balance. Logan Acres Foundation reimbursed Homestead $10,000 for the purchase of the soaking tub. May 2024  Operating cash increased $35K. Debt service payment of $67,303 paid in June 2024.  Lorraine Fischio provided updates on operations at Logan Acres. Logan Acers current census 88/12 2 rooms out ofservice on Mill. Homestead census twenty-three rented and one two bedroom is available. Credential Point System in place for updated credentialing. Construction meetings continue bi-weekly. Updated HSG agreement changed chemical supplier. Oral Health QAPI project is ongoing. New consultant psychologist C onboard. Logan Acres attended the job fair at Ohio Hi Point Career Center, Hosted staff breakfast for National Nurses Week, Held Planting Day, picnic, spring fling and crafts for National Nursing Home Week. Had an Ice Cream Commissioner Yoder and Commissioner Antram met with Ben Vollrath Economic Development, Mayor Crissman and Wes Dodds Safety Director. - Mr. Vollrath communicated EMA continue to do substantial amounts of work to Indian Lake Tornado Relief. Community Recovery Business Sub Committee proposed strategic plan for Indian Lake Region focus on hiring consultant recommendations promotion marking, and Discussed Jobs Ohio large community grant. Small Nations applied. for a grant for The Opera Block. Mr. Vollrath indicated Lakeview is also eligible to apply for the grant. Mr. Vollrath will be reaching out to  Social for Mother's Day.  infrastructure.  Lakeview Mayor and business to make them aware oft the opportunity.  Discussed City of Springfield is seeing increase ofHaiti citizens as well as Springfield City Schools are seeing forty new student enrollments a week. Mr. Vollrath indicated that some of these Haiti citizens are working in Logan County with at Temp Service. Mr. Vollrath communicated he will be talking with. local school Superintendents to make aware Logan County could see some ofHaiti citizens looking for housing in Logan County. Mr. Vollrath feels this could be an opportunity for Logan County and wants to keep it on the radar. Brad Bodenmiller provided updated information to Mr. Vollrath on the State Budget projects. Still opportunity  toa advocate for funds.  Seeing movement with OGAP and HB349.  Wes Dodds reported seeing activity in the city with Major Park on Phase 3, Ludlow Ridge on Phase 1. Lots of activity with new business coming into the city. City working on Master Plan and has met with all department  heads to discuss their wants/needs. Commissioner Antram and Yoder agreed to award the remaining funding to Other category remaining balance $26,638.00. Administrator Henry recommended awarding $10,000.00 to Life Care Alliance for additional meals tol Logan County residents. $6,000.00 to Logan County Friendly Senior  and Yoder agreed to award additional funding to United Way.  additional funding to Lutheran Community Services.  Bridges Community Partnership.    Center to purchase electronic sign and $1500.00 to Tam Blakely RTC Transit to purchase first aid kits to distribute to Seniors on Senior Citizen Day at the Logan County Fair. Commissioner Antram and Commissioner Yoder agreed with. Administrator Henry recommendations on awarding the remaining balance ofthe Other Category. This would leave al balance of $8,656.10. Commissioner Yoder moved to award the remaining balance of $8,656.101 to Logan County Friendly Senior Center $6,000.00 awarding them a total of$14,646.10. Commissioner Antram seconded. Administrator Henry will be attending Belle Center meeting on Friday, June 14 at 10:30am with Belle Center Officials, Brian Schultz Sewer District and Breanne Parcels Assistant Prosecutor to discuss Belle Center lift  station. Judge Estes regarding his request to use the office space at Memorial Hall second floor. Judge Estes was not ini favor of paying rent for the two office spaces. However, in leu ofi rent Judge Estes would reimburse aj percentage of the remodel expense for the two offices he would be using. Commissioners Yoder researched the cost oft the remodel oft the offices. The remodel cost $16,188.42. Commissioner Yoder figured at 40% reimbursement oft the two offices spaçes cost $6,475.37. Commissioner Yoder proposed creating an invoice ini the amount of $6,475.37 for Judge Estes in leu of] paying rent. Commissioner Antram moved to approve. Judge Estes' use oft two office spaces on the second floor Memorial Hall and accept invoice of $6,475.37 in leu of rent oftwo office spaces. Commissioner Yoder seconded.  Commissioner Robinson was not present. Motion carried.  Discussed invoice from Bob Cat Multi Works that Logan County Solid Waste District received in the amount of $79,459.00 from services they provided during the tornado at Indian Lake. Commissioner Yoder had discussion with Todd Baumgardner and Howard Weinerman with Logan County Solid Waste District as they indicated that the invoices had public and private services included ini the total invoice. The Solid Waste District recommended paying for the public services that Bob Cat Multi Works provided in the among to $35,970.30. Commissioner Antram and Commissioner Yoder agreed with the recommendation of the Logan County Solid Waste District recommended. Commissioner Antram moved; Commissioner Yoder seconded to approve the recommendations ofthe Logan County Solid Waste District to pay $35,970.30 for the publics service Bob Cat Multi Works provided during the tornado in March. Commissioner Robinson was not present. Motion carried.
