City Council Meeting Minutes December 4, 2023 Jacksonville, Alabama  The City Council of the City of. Jacksonville, Alabama, met for a Council Meeting on December 4, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. int the Municipal Court Room at the Public Safety Complex, 911 Public Safety Drive, Jacksonville, Alabama. Council President Tony Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. Upon roll call, the following Council Members were present: Coty Galloway, Andrew Green, Sherry Laster, and Terry Wilson. Mayor Johnny Smith, City Administrator Albertha Grant, City Attorney Richard Rhea, and City Clerk Brenda Long were ADOPTION OF MINUTES. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member Wilson, to approve the Minutes from the November 27,2023, Regular Work Session and Council Meeting. State Volleyball Tournament.  AI motion was made by Council Member Green, seconded by Council Member Wilson, to adopt the agenda as amended. The Council President asked for comments concerning current Agenda PLAMNINGCOMMSSON REPORT AND PUBLICI CHEARING SCHEDULE. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member Laster, to receive the attached Planning Commission Report for a Zoning Amendment request of Bob and Regina Austin and schedule al Public Hearing for Monday, January 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for same. Upon vote on the motion, the following votes were recorded: Yeas: All; Nays: None. The Council President BIDNO.24-04. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member Wilson, to accept the Bid Report for Bid No. 24-04, Purchase of Vehicles for Building Department, noting no bids were received. Upon vote on the motion, the following votes were recorded: Yeas: All; Nays: None. The Council President announced the motion carried. WATER WORKS GAS AND SEWER BOARD OFTHE CITY OF ANNISTON AGREEMENT. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member Wilson, to authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the Water Works Gas and Sewer Board, to assign the service agreement with the' Water Works Gas and Sewer Board of the City of Anniston, per the attached.
