City Council Meeting Minutes November 13, 2023 Jacksonville, Alabama  The City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Alabama, met for a Council Meeting on November 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. int the Municipal Court Room at the Public Safety Complex, 911 Public Safety Drive, Jacksonville, Alabama. Council President Tony Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Upon roll call, thet following Council Members were present: Coty Galloway, Andrew Green, Sherry Laster, and Terry' Wilson. City Administrator Albertha Grant, City Attorney Richard Rhea, and City Clerk Brenda Long were present. Mayor. Johnny L. Smith ADOPTION OF MINUTES. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member' Wilson, to approve the Minutes from the October 23, 2023, Regular Work Session and Council Meeting. City Administrator noted there were amendments to the agenda as follows:  Main Agenda: Add:  Item. 10a: Consider action to accept the Bid Report for Bid No. 24-01, Purchase and Delivery of ADA Mobile Restroom Trailer(s) and approve Resolution No. R-2195-24 to award Bid No. 24-01 to Comforts of Home Services, Inc., and Item 11a. Consider action to authorize the Mayor to sign the consulting agreement with. JMCM Consulting, for project planning and application; for the Assistance to Firefighter Grant Program(s), per the attached.  authorize the Mayor to sign any necessary documents.  Delete:  Item 11: Consider action to authorize the Mayor to sign the Management Agreement with. J. A motion was made by Council Member Galloway, seconded by Council Member Wilson, accept the Planning Commission report regarding the alley vacation request of James and Traci Pitts (910 9th Ave., NE) and Randy and Sherrie Wiggins (908 10th Ave., NE) to vacate a portion of an unimproved alley that lies north of gth Street, NE and south of 10th Street, NE and east of gth Ave., NE and west of 10th Ave., NE and schedule al Public Hearing for December 18, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. for the same.
