Chairman Sanders  declared the same passed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  Approval oft the February 20, 2024 Planning and Zoning Minutes. PUBLIC HEARING - None  REQUESTTO ADDRESS' THE BOARD None  OLD BUSINESS until next month NEW BUSINESS  1.1 Discussion ofl Moratorium for new development  Due to the absence ofMayor Perkins and the Town Attorney, it was agreed to tablet this item  1. Town Engineer Milton Warnock introduced a new Floodplain Ordinance for Mr. Warnock mentioned that it was discovered the Town currently lacks a Flood Plain Ordinance and suggested it might be timely to consider its adoption. Thej proposed ordinance is an adaptation oft the State version, tailored to exclude irrelevant items. Chairman Sanders will circulate the ordinance to Board members for their review for further discussion at upcoming Jody Haywood inquired about the availability oft the Water Study conducted by the Water Board. Town Engineer Milton Warnock clarified that the study was finalized in February and indicated  consideration of the P & Z. Board.  meetings.  and ai meeting for review will be scheduled soon.  ANNOUNCEMENTS  1. The next meeting of the Harpersville Town Council will be held at The Harpersville Community Center with a Work Session on Monday, April 1 at 5:00pm., with the regular 2.
