TOWN OF ZOLFO SPRINGS REGULAR MEETING MINUTES  TUESDAY  MAY28, 2024  6:00PM  Chairman call to order: The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.  Commissioners Roll Call: Roll Call.  Present: Lupe DeLeon, Rod Cannon, Didi White, Sara Schofield, Martina Zuniga  Linda Roberson (Not voting), Gerald Buhr (Not voting), Deputy Dawson (Not voting), Susan Williamson (Not voting).  Regular Meeting: questions.  Contract with. Hardee County Sheriff's Department 2024-2025  Sheriff Vent Crawford ofthe Hardee County Sheriff's Department presented contract and answered  Motion: Contract with Hardee County Sheriff's Department for Law Enforcement Services, Action: Approve, Moved  by Sara Schofield, Seconded by Lupe Deleon.  Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary: Yes =! 5). Yes: Didi White, Lupe DeLeon, Martina Zuniga, Rod Cannon, Sara Schofield.  Consent. Agenda: Accounts Payables Meeting Minutes Sheriff's Statistic Reports  Water & Waste/Water & Transportation Monthly Reports  Motion: Consent Agenda, Action: Approve, Moved by Sara Schofield, Seconded by Didi White.  Motion passed unanimously. Mayor Comments: Attorney Comments: year.  June Ridge League Dinner will be in Davenport  Stormwater Utility. Assessment- The Town Manager recommended the assessment be reconsidered next    Town Manager Comments:  Thes striping at the stop sign on Terrier Drive has been completed.  Purchase ofJet Trailer totaling $34,900  Motion: Purchase of Jet Trailer for $34,900., Action: Approve, Moved by Didi White, Seconded by Sara Schofield.  Motion passed unanimously. Clerk Comments:  Resignation and appointment of Planning and Zoning Committee Members Gerald Cadwell recently resigned from the Planning and Zoning Board. The Town Clerk recommended he be replaced with Sergio Jiminez of 813 Redding St.  Motion: Appointment of Sergio. Jiminez to the Planning and Zoning Board., Action: Approve, Moved by Sara Schofield,  Seconded by Martina Zuniga. Motion passed unanimously. Old Business: None New Business: None Citizen Items: None  The County has placed a burn ban to be enforced throughout the County and all Municipalities.  Sergio Jiminez of 813 Redding St presented to the Commission that he is planning on continuing to build  new homes in Zolfo Springs. He asked that any concerns be directed to him.
