Roll Call: Mayor Tommy Carr: Present, Councilmember Roger McDonald: Absent, Councilmember Mike Goodman: Present, Councilmember Johnnie Day: Absent, Councilmember Staci Saunders: Present, Councilmember Gerald Hall: 5. Consent Items: Regular Council Meeting Minutes 2/13/2024. Motion to approve Present. by Gerald Hall, 2nd by Mike Day, Unanimous. 6. Citizens Forum: 7. Old Business: 8. Consider Extending Water Line on ACR311- C. Bristow. Cody Bristow discussed with council potential plans to add small subdivision within the city limits. Council had asked City Secretary in February meeting to gather information sO the council could make an informed decision. City Secretary and Water Superintendent presented information to council. A motion was made to updgrade water line from a 2"to a 6" line from Hwy 175 to the potential location oft the Bristow addition on CR: 311. The city would pay for the replacement of the existing line since the upgrade would allow city to install much needed fire hydrants in the area. The additional 6" line being laid to the new housing area would be paid for by Cody Bristow. Motion to approve water line replacement by Mike Goodman, 2nd by Gerald Hall, Unanimous. 9. New Business: a. Consider Mobile Home Variance at 308 ACR 300- C. Shackelford. There was no opposition to the variance. Motion to approve by Gerald Hall, 2nd by b. Consider & Discuss Concerns for Annexation off] Hwy 175 West. Council were presented with a few conçerns from landowners that needed to be addressed before moving forward. The council all agreed the concerns were not issues the city could not work to accommodate. The council asked City Secretary to start process ofannexation. Motion to approve moving forward with annexation by Stacie Saunders, 2nd by Gerald Hall, Unanimous. Property Maintenance - Kelli D. Casey updated council on letters sent out. 12 letters were mailed out and as ofthe meeting 6j properties had been cleaned.
